1. Who we are
This site is operated by Hermione Logic B.V., trading as Sweet-Discount Shop, registered in the Netherlands, with its registered office at Grote Haag 85, 3893 CM Zeewolde, Netherlands.
You can reach us at [email protected].
Anyone can buy from the shop. We also run a paid membership, which is optional: members see reduced prices on a selection of products that changes over time.
2. Who these terms apply to
These terms cover everything we sell to consumers resident in the countries we deliver to — currently France and United States — covering every order placed through this shop, and the membership if you take one. You do not need to be a member for them to apply.
You accept them when you register an account, and they apply from that day. Where a section below is about the membership, it says so, and it binds you only once you have one.
3. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. If we do, we will email you at least 15 days before the new version applies. If you would rather not accept it, you can end your membership at the end of the period you have already paid for. That period is not refunded.
4. Becoming a member
To subscribe you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, legally able to do so, and resident in one of the countries we deliver to: France and United States.
You confirm the details you give us are accurate and agree to tell us at [email protected] if they change. We may check them. Once your payment is taken we send a confirmation by email.
5. What membership gives you
Membership opens up member pricing on the products we feature. What is featured changes from time to time, and photographs and descriptions are illustrative rather than contractual.
Your membership fee is charged whether or not you buy anything. There is no limit on how often you may order while it is active.
New members may be eligible for a special introductory offer when they join. Where one is running, the conditions and deadlines shown on that page form part of these terms.
Where that offer is settled with a shop coupon, the coupon can be used once, on the account it was issued to, on an order of at least $125. It can only be used while your membership is active, and it applies to physical products sold by us — it cannot be used for digital products.
6. The welcome offer
We run welcome offers for new members from time to time, each described in full on the welcome offer page. An offer combines three things: you start Premium at the trial price shown for that campaign, you buy the product the campaign features, and you send us proof that you bought it. Where a campaign is running, the products, amounts, windows and any further conditions shown on that page form part of these terms; where they say something different from this section, that page is what applies. After the trial your membership continues at the prices in section 9 unless you cancel.
Depending on the campaign you may buy the product from a participating retailer or from a local shop of your own choosing, and it must be bought within 14 days of the date your Premium membership qualifies. Where you buy from someone else they are the seller, not us: delivery, guarantees and returns for that product are a matter between you and them, and sections 10 and 13 cover only what you order through this shop.
To claim, send us the invoice and the payment receipt from your account on this site. Every claim is checked by hand against the terms of the campaign it belongs to, which usually takes up to 7 days, and we email you the decision. If we cannot approve one we tell you why, and you are welcome to send a different document. One reward is available per campaign you join through.
Once a claim is approved you choose your reward: cashback, or a shop coupon of the higher value, in the amounts advertised for that campaign. That choice is final. We ask you to confirm it, and it cannot be changed once made. Where a campaign includes a VPN trial, the VPN is a separate subscription that renews on its own terms, set out before you check out.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available at all times, apart from maintenance, faults and events outside our control. Your own equipment and internet connection, and what they cost, are your responsibility.
8. Length and renewal
Membership runs for one month at a time, or three months if you chose the quarterly plan, and renews automatically until you cancel. You may cancel at any time under section 11, or withdraw under section 12.
9. Price and payment
Membership costs $29.95 per month or $74.95 per quarter. What tax, duty or customs charge may be added is set out at checkout.
Payment is taken from a valid payment card automatically at the start of each period until you cancel. Payments are handled by a third-party provider; we do not store your card details. You confirm you are entitled to authorise the payments and agree to keep a working payment method on file.
If a payment fails, or we have reason to suspect fraud, we may suspend or end your membership.
Prices are checked, but mistakes happen. Where a price is plainly wrong we may cancel the order and refund anything already taken, even after the order is confirmed. We will tell you, and you are free to order again at the corrected price.
10. Delivery
Where an order includes a physical item, we send it to the address you gave us within 45 days of the order being confirmed.
If it has not reached you within 45 days, tell us at [email protected]. We will trace it and send a replacement within a reasonable time. If nothing arrives after that, you may end the contract in writing and we will refund your most recent payment.
11. Cancelling
By you. You may cancel at any time, without giving a reason, from your account on this site, by emailing [email protected]. Member pricing continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Anything already delivered may still be returned; contact us first and we will explain how, and who pays for it. Refunds follow once we have received and checked the item.
By us. We may end your membership if you break these terms — non-payment in particular — or if we stop offering the service. We will tell you.
12. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 clear days from the day your membership starts to withdraw. Email us at [email protected] saying so — there is no form to fill in, and you do not have to give a reason.
Anything you return must be in its original packaging, and return postage is yours to pay. We refund within 14 days of the returned item reaching us.
13. Guarantees
Products carry the legal guarantees that apply where you live, covering items that do not match their description and hidden defects.
Tell us at [email protected] what is wrong, and wait for our reply before sending anything back — we cannot match an unannounced parcel to an order. We will arrange the return, check the item and replace it. Where replacement is not possible we may send something of equivalent value, which carries the same withdrawal rights.
14. Our liability
We check that the site works and is reachable, and may interrupt it for maintenance. We are not liable for access problems caused by circumstances beyond our control, including telecommunications faults, nor for delay or failure caused by events beyond our control.
15. Intellectual property
The site, its software, structure, databases and content — text, images, logos and trademarks among them — are protected. Copying, distributing, taking apart or otherwise using them without our permission is not allowed and may be acted on.
16. Your personal data
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
17. What you may not do
You must not interrupt, slow or interfere with the service; attempt to break into our systems; misuse system resources; place a disproportionate load on our infrastructure; defeat security or authentication; infringe our rights; or otherwise breach these terms. We will respond to any of these as we see fit, including legally.
18. Advertising
We may place advertising or promotional material anywhere on the site.
19. Communicating in writing
Communications sent electronically count as being in writing, and you accept them in that form.
20. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law, and the courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction over a dispute about them. That does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country and state you live in — that protection applies whatever this section says.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.
